My sincerest condolences to Sue, Debbie, Liz and his children. Rest in peace my dear friend. We spent plenty of time deciding on the quandries of the world. We relished in the memories of our childhood and laughed at the mistakes of our teenage years. You so treated my parents with respect and helped them whenever you could because you recognized they really didn't have the means to fix that broken roof. Your heart was golden. Let the light you shined on earth shine above. Shine like an angel Richie! I send love and prayers to your entire family.

My sincerest, heartfelt condolences to Sue, Debbie, Marlene, and the rest of Richie’s beautiful family. Although I haven’t seen Richie in many years, we sometimes spoke on Facebook. But my fond memories of him have come back in his passing. I pray the Lord wraps his arms around Richie and gives his family comfort, knowing that he is in paradise.
When a believer in Jesus Christ passes from this life, Scripture speaks with both honesty about grief and deep hope in what lies beyond. The Bible reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14 that we do not grieve as those without hope, for just as Christ died and rose again, so too God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Him. Though our hearts feel the pain of separation, we hold onto the promise found in 2 Corinthians 5:8—that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Richie , having trusted in Christ, now rests in His peace, free from suffering and in the fullness of His presence. As Revelation 21:4 declares, God will wipe away every tear, and death shall be no more. Until the day of reunion, we carry both sorrow and comfort together, knowing that love endures and that in Christ, death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal life.

Deepest Sympathy to the Schmidt family. The Mulladys and the Schmidts were friends and family. In my thoughts and prayers. Growing up in the Schmidt house was so much fun. Debbie, Sue, Richie and Liz, the fun never stopped. Richie is now at peace with his beloved Mother {Joanie Schmidt} who he adored, who didn't and his dear Father Rocky. Richie is at peace, no more pain. May Richie Rest in Paradise. I could write a book, God has written the final chapter. Till we meet again.

Dear Richie,
I honestly don't know where to begin when expressing how much I love you and how much I will miss you. I shall miss our wonderful talks while sitting in the sun. You and I loved getting our tan on. I will forever call you, my very own Paul Newman. Heck, you were more handsome than Newman. I am starting to have signs from you already. Beth, by Kiss came on before and man, I just sat here stunned for a few minutes. Cause, well you know, Kiss wasn't my band. Thanks for coming to me already.
Your family has meant the world to me my whole life. Your wonderful sisters are going to miss you terribly. And of course your children will be at a loss for a very long time without you in their lives. Oh how they all loved you so.
I just know you are now in your beautiful mother's arms. Say hello to her and to Rocky for me. Give him a hard punch in the arm for me.
May your soul rest in eternal peace but with a great mix of music. I bet the sun will shine up there all the time just for you.
