Obituary of Margaret E. Quinn

Margaret E. ‘Peggy’ Quinn, a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, passed away on April 12, 2026 at the age of 89.

 

Peggy is predeceased by the love of her life, John, her husband of 66 years. Peggy is survived by her loving children, Nancy Sullivan (Jack), John B., Maureen Russell (Jimmy), Theresa Pirrelli (Stephen), Barbara and Elizabeth. Beloved grandmother of Erin Rivera (Roberto), Nicholas, Daniel, Caitlin Paradiso (Josh), Joseph, Matthew, Annalisa, Sofia and Mackenzie. She is predeceased by her granddaughters Margot and Grace. Cherished great grandmother of Gabriella. 

 

Peggy was the devoted sister to Kathleen Pepe, Maureen Ollis, Michael Reilly, Suzanne Delgado  and Theresa Aliotta  and the late Patrick, George, Thomas, Anne Gambino  and William. Peggy was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Reilly. 

 

Peggy was a devout catholic and a parishioner of over 60 years at St Brendan’s RC Church. Peggy was a dedicated volunteer for many years at the church. 

 

Peggy devoted her life to her family. She cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. She loved nothing more than filling her home with lots of love and laughter. 

 

Peggy will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter and those who knew and loved her. 

 

“One day we will remember how lucky we were to have known their love, with wonder, not grief.” 


The visitation for Margaret Quinn will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Friday April 17, 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church on Saturday April 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM - the family will be gathering at the funeral home by 9:00 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at Ocean View Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
