Obituary of Raymond Young

Raymond Young, age 63, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Mr. Young was born May 9, 1962 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Robert and the late Florence (nee Flynn) Young.

Raymond had a deep love for the summer months, finding joy in the warmth of the sun and countless hours spent swimming in his pool. A devoted fan of the New York Rangers, he also enjoyed the camaraderie of playing on a softball team. Above all, Raymond was a dedicated family man who cherished the time he spent with those he loved most.

Raymond is survived by his brothers Robert Young (Elizabeth,) Ronald Young (Kerry) and Russell Young (Lisa.)

Cherished uncle of Anthony (Sherry,) Maria, Miranda (Robert,) Shannon, Kassidy, Caitlyn, Kaylee and Ryan.

Great uncle of AJ, Michael, Rowan and Rory.

Raymond was a devoted dog dad to his beloved canines, Kensi and Rempe. He cherished their companionship and cared for them with unwavering love.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 7 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 8 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Cremation to follow in Green-Wood Crematory, Brooklyn on Wednesday, April 8.

Raymond will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery on a future date.
