Obituary of Eileen L. Lynch

Eileen L. Lynch, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at the age of 103.

 

Born in Patrickswell, Co. Limerick, Ireland, she lived a long and remarkable life centered on family, faith, and love. She was known for her kindness, strength, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her.

 

She was the devoted mother of 8. She was also the cherished grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of 9. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John J. Lynch, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.

 

Family gatherings were especially meaningful to her. Thanksgiving and Christmas were treasured times when she brought the family together with her cooking and love, creating memories that will live on for generations.

 

She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

 

Her love, strength, and devotion to her family will remain in our hearts forever.

 

Reposing on Saturday, March 21 from 8:00- 9:00 AM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 AM on Saturday, March 21 at Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, 1315 East 28th Street, Brooklyn.

 

Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn.
