Obituary of William Francis Clements
William Francis Clements was born in Brooklyn in 1933 to Catherine Skelton and John Clements. Bill attended St. Teresa’s, Brooklyn Tech High School, City College and Polytechnic University. Earning a degree in Electrical Engineering, he went on to long-time successful careers at American Telephone & Telegraph and ITT Communications, finishing up his career at the United States Postal Service. A proud Army veteran, Bill enlisted to serve his country during the Korean War from 1954 through 1956.
Bill was preceded in death by his loving parents and his sisters Betty and Kay; he is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dolores; his three children Christopher (Julie), Jennifer (John) and John; his granddaughter Sophia; and his brother Jack (Barbara).
Wake service will be on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm.
Funeral mass will take place at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 9:30am, with committal service immediately following at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
