Kerri O'Shea

Obituary of Kerri Anne O'Shea

Kerri Anne O’Shea, 34, of Roxbury, New York, passed away on January 28, 2026.

Born on April 17, 1991, Kerri was the beloved daughter of Karen and Brian Bogart. Kerri attended Oceanside High School, graduating with the Class of 2009, and went on to pursue a life devoted to learning and helping others.

Kerri earned her first Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Tampa in 2012. She continued her education with a second Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida in 2015, and later completed her Master’s Degree in 2017 at the University of South Florida. Her dedication to her students and her passion for education were evident in everything she did.

For eight years, Kerri proudly served as a teacher at P.S. 207, where she touched countless lives through her patience, compassion, and commitment.

Kerri enjoyed her life by the beach, loving the sounds of the bridge that reminded her of home. She loved nothing more than enjoying her days comfortably relaxing with her two dogs, Howdy and Frankie.

Kerri could be found spending time with her friends old and new, enjoying dinner together, a glass of wine, or tearing up a dance floor.

She was as fun as she was caring and loyal, redefining what it meant to be a friend, a family member, and a wife.

Kerri was the wife of Daniel O’Shea, and their love was a true partnership—full of devotion and laughter. Together, they were preparing to welcome a beautiful baby boy, due in February through surrogacy. This baby boy is deeply loved and long-awaited, and Kerri's love and her spirit will forever be part of his life.

Kerri is survived by her loving husband, Daniel O’Shea; her parents, Karen and Brian Bogart; her cherished brothers, John and Brian; and extended family members, dear friends, colleagues, and countless students whose lives she helped shape.

Kerri Anne O’Shea will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, her loyalty, and the love she gave so freely. Her impact was immeasurable, and her memory will be carried forward by all who loved her.
