Obituary of Sean O'Loughlin
Sean O’Loughlin, age 57, passed away on January 6, 2026.
Sean was the loving son of the late Kevin and Yvonne O’Loughlin and the cherished brother of Monique Quinn. He was a devoted uncle to Tommy (Grace) Quinn and Billy Quinn, and a proud great-uncle to Ozzy Quinn. Sean will be deeply loved and missed by his extended family and many, many dear friends.
Sean was an accomplished and highly respected lawyer with a career spanning more than 30 years. Known for his sharp intellect and deep understanding of the law, Sean was widely regarded as an exceptional legal mind.
To further develop his skills as a lawyer, Sean took acting lessons—an experience that led him to discover a new and lasting passion. He went on to write his own plays and loved to perform - on social media and even wrote a play, produced it and starred on it on Off-Broadway - blending his love of performance with his natural confidence and creativity.
Sean had a great passion for music and recently took up learning several different instruments. He also enjoyed dancing the tango and embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. An avid traveler, Sean spent years exploring the all over the world on long weekends and often invited friends to join him on his adventures.
A lifelong animal lover, Sean had a special fondness for his bird, Mickey, and his sister's dogs, Bella and Daisy. He loved social media and frequently shared his thoughts and experiences, did comedy and acting skits, and provided educational posts.
Above all, Sean was a mentor, a loyal friend, and an extraordinarily generous person who gave freely of his time, wisdom, and heart. Sean’s intelligence, creativity, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be remembered always by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
