Obituary of Angelo Silecchia

Angelo Silecchia, age 92, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026. Mr. Silecchia was born November 27, 1933 in Bitetto, Bari, Italy . He is the son of the late Giuseppe and the late Angela (nee Dattoma) Silecchia.

He is survived by his beloved wife Maddalina (nee Castore) Silecchia.

Devoted children Guiseppe Silecchia (Emelia) and Cesare Silecchia (Luanne.)

Grandfather of Alessandro Silecchia.

Mr. Silecchia leaves behind his siblings Santino Silecchia, Ralph Silecchia and Anna Degirolamo.

Calling hours will be Thursday, January 8 from 4:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, January 9 at St. Edmund R.C. Church, 2460 Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial will immediately follow in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
