Obituary of John L. Taros

John L. Taros, age 84, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025. Mr. Taros was born May 7, 1941, in Queens, NY. He is the son of the late John and the late Rita Taros.

He is survived by his devoted wife Diane M. (nee Lescanec) Taros. They would have been married 64 years on January 27, 2026.

Predeceased by his son, the late John L. Taros.

John is the cherished brother-in-law of Evelyn Matechak and Gladys Dell'Aquila.

Beloved uncle of Erica and Robert.

Calling hours will be Sunday, December 28 from 2:00 – 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 29 at St. Columba R.C. Church, 2245 Kimball Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial to immediately follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.

In lieu of flowers the family requests  donations to be made to Tunnel to Towers or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in John’s memory.
