Obituary of John A. Hansen

John A. Hansen, age 63, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025. John was born April 21, 1962 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late John and Julia (nee Harrigan) Hansen.

John proudly served as a Detective for the NYPD.

He is survived by his cherished wife Luciana (nee Rammairone) Hansen.

John is the loved father of Joseph Hansen (Marielle,) Gina Martinez (Carl) and Anna Hansen (boyfriend George.)

He is the brother of the late Kenny Hansen, Jimmy Hansen (Lisa) and Judy Mattiello (Philip.)

Uncle of Nicollette (Ryan,) Donna, JohnKenny and Alexis.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 16 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 17 at St. Columba R.C. Church, 2245 Kimball Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Cremation to follow at Green-Wood Crematory, Brooklyn.
