Obituary of Joanne Newlin

Joanne Newlin, aged 70, of Manhattan passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025. Mrs. Newlin was born on January 23, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY. She was a local member of the community where she was Baptized at Our Lady of Peace Church and graduated Sheepshead Bay High School. She showed her willingness to help others by becoming certified in Practical Infant and Geriatric Care.

 

She is the daughter of the late Joseph Ferrulli and the late Carmela Buonpane.

 

She is survived by her Sister Virgina Schulze (Stephen).

Cherished mother of James O’Leary (Christina), Robert Newlin and Kimberly Newlin.

Beloved Grandmother to Kaylee Muniz, Joseph O’Leary and Zayn Cruz.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 21, 2025, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn NY, 11234.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 22 at St. Marks R.C. Church, 2609 E 19th St, Brooklyn, NY 11235.
