Lillian A. Rao, age 101, of Brooklyn passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025. Lillian Rao was born September 4, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Pasquale and the late Josephine (Marinello) Gelardi. Beloved wife of the late Matthew Rao. Cherished mother of Vito Rao (the late Ann) and Roseann Cetta (Anthony). Dear sister of the late Catherine Billera, the late Lucy Pomara and the late Anthony Gelardi. Adored grandmother of Denise, Vito, Lisa, Michael, Christine and Joanna. Great grandmother of 12.

Wake service will be on Sunday November 9, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn, NY 11234, 718-339-8900.

Funeral mass will be on Monday November 10, 2025 at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church at 9:30 AM. 2055 East 69th Street Brooklyn, NY 11234.
