Obituary of Dorothy Kologlu

Dorothy Kologlu, 89, of Rockaway Park, NY, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025. Mrs. Kologlu was born January 11, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Martin and the late Anna (nee Rex) Olsen.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Yusuf Kologlu.

Mrs. Kologlu is survived by her children Nermin Clark, Richard Kologlu, John Kologlu and Denise Domenech.

Cherished grandmother to 9 wonderful children; MacKenzey, Michael, Brian, Kristen, Stevie D, Courtney, Melissa, Emily and William. 

Visitation hours will be Wednesday, October 15 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A cremation service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Green-Wood Crematory, Brooklyn. 

Burial of cremated remains in Green-Wood Cemetery to follow on a later date.
