Obituary of Kathleen A. De Boer

Kathleen A. De Boer, age 88, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.  Kathleen was born February 10, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of the late John Patrick and the late Margaret (Sullivan) Boyhan. Devoted wife of the late Arthur H. De Boer, Jr. Loving mother of Colleen De Boer (the late Raymond), Brian De Boer, Jeanmarie De Boer, Gregory De Boer (Denise), Christopher De Boer and James De Boer (Michelle). Cherished Nana of Brian Thomas, Daniel, Christopher, Brendan, Lindsey, Jack Henry, Aidan Arthur, Emma and Maggie. Dear sister of Rev. J. Patrick Boyhan and Michael Boyhan (Lorraine) and sister-in-law of Kenneth De Boer and Regina De Boer. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen’s life was marked by faith, family, and an enduring love that touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Reposing on Thursday, September 25 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM  at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.
