Obituary of Vincent Piccirillo
Vincent "Vinny" Piccirillo, 90 ,passed away peacefully on September 10th 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Vinny is the beloved son of the late Gennaro and Josephine (Fotia) Piccirillo. Vinny was born in Downtown Brooklyn, New York on October 13, 1934. Vinny leaves behind his wife, Assunta (Minutolo) Piccirillo. Vinny is a U.S. Army Veteran. He served in the Korean War, first in the motor pool and then on radar. After his service, Vinny became a skilled photographer and exceptional worker for Con Edison for over 45 years. Vinny was an avid sports fan. Before he became a NY Mets fan, he was a devoted Brooklyn Dodgers fan. He was also a huge NY Jets fan. He enjoyed watching all sporting games on the television. Vinny was a devoted Catholic and attended church weekly. He also loved traveling.
In addition to his wife Assunta Piccirillo and late wife Antoinette Piccirillo, Vinny leaves behind a large family who will miss him dearly. He is a cherished father to his children Karen Barton, Gerard Piccirllo, daughter in law Susan, Jeannine Scott and son in law John. He is also a beloved Grandfather to his 6 grandchildren: Kristen Liotine (John), Caitlyn Piccirillo, Megan Piccirillo (Parris), Matthew Piccirillo, John-John Scott and Vincent Scott. In addition to his grandchildren, Vinny leaves behind his dear great grandchildren Olivia, Adrianna and Dominic Liotine. They will all miss their husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa immensely.
Vinny is also a beloved brother to his 3 siblings, Josephine Giannino, Angela Piccirillo and the late Philip Piccirillo. He was an adored uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Vinny was a family man and always had a huge smile, the most biggest heart and always willing to lend anyone a helping hand. He was one of a kind and gave many people memories to last a lifetime. He will be greatly missed.
Wake service will be on Friday September 19, 2025 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn, NY 11234. 718-339-8900.
Funeral mass will be on Saturday September 20 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. 1950 Batchelder Street Brooklyn, NY 11229.
Committal service will immediately follow to Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery. 2030 Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale, NY 11735.
