Mr. Lisboa was an amazing man, which I know, because when I was a student in my last years of High School, I experience what an amazing, and spiritually beautiful man he was. He was not just a teacher or an operator of an afternoon detentions; he was a caring sweetheart of a man that never allowed anyone to feel distraught or overwhelmed. I had a terrible habit of falling asleep in his classroom, and he caught me twice, or maybe even more, but I remember the second time he did, he told me to go to the bathroom and wash my face to keep me awake, and I did, ever since that day I tried my best to stay awake in his class out of respect for him. The other time, I remember I was genuinely nervous and anxious about my senior year in High School and finals, I had to partake in to pass my class. He only said, one phrase to me that resonates with me to this day, "Don't worry about it," he said strictly enough to get it through to you, but also calmly and warmly enough to let you know he truly did care. I will repeat that phrase throughout my life and immediately think of him. Whoever is reading this, whether it be, a family member of Mr. Lisboa's, his friend, college, student or a stranger. I will have you know this man was and always will be an Angel, and now God has decided to take him back to Heaven with Him, so he could watch better over all of us, forever. God, bless Him and His Family. I am extremely thankful that You Gave Me an Opportunity to have this Man be a Part of My Life. I will promise to make You all Proud with the Life I will Live, before I join you two. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
