Obituary of Erasmo R. Scipione

Erasmo R. Scipione, age 81, of Brooklyn, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Born on January 27, 1944, in Italy, Erasmo was the cherished son of the late Giovanni and the late Elena (Filosa) Scipione.

 

Beloved husband of 44 years to Linda (Sosinski) Scipione. Erasmo was a devoted family man whose quiet strength and endless kindness touched everyone he met. Loving father of Raymond Scipione, Clarice Scipione-Magner (Konstantin), and Evan Scipione (Skye); and adored grandfather of Emma and Noah, who brought him endless joy.

 

He was the cherished brother of Concetta Romano and the late Anna Burns. Erasmo also leaves behind a large and loving extended family, including nieces and nephews, Patrick (Connie), Carlo (Ellen), Connie, John, Lana, Vincent (Millie), Sarah Patran, Megan Myers (Phillip), the late Gene Burns, John Kenneth, Lenore Feeny (Sean), and Marissa Schumann (Danny). He was dearly loved by many great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

 

Erasmo was known for his calm, gentle demeanor and a heart that was always open. Whether offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply sharing a smile, he embodied kindness in its purest form.

 

To know him was truly a blessing.

 

Even though we are apart, your spirit is always with us. Forever In Our Hearts.

 

Reposing on Saturday, September 6, from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at

Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

 

Private cremation to follow.
