Obituary of Margaret M. Shields

Margaret M.Shields (Margie) of Cohoes New York died on Wednesday August 20, 2025. Margie was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 18, 1942 to James and Antoinette Shields (nee Gallo).

She was a caring and devoted daughter to her parents. After their passing Margie resided with Barbara and Rick Raspante in upstate New York.  She had a great love for her furry friends, Daisy, Charlie, Bugsy and especially Winnie, treating each one like a family member.

Margie enjoyed working and was proud of her roles working at the Great Great Escape lodge in Queensbury New York.

The visitation for Margaret M. Shields will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Following the visitation, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church (1550 Hendrickson Street, Brooklyn) at 10:30 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
