Obituary of Eileen V. McCool

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Eileen V. McCool, who entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2025, at the age of 93.

Eileen was joyfully welcomed into Heaven by her beloved husband, James P. McCool, Sr. She was the devoted mother of James P. McCool, Jr., wife Diana, and Denise Ferolie, husband Antony; the cherished grandmother of James P. McCool III, Deirdre McCool, Courtney McCool, Joseph James Ferolie, and Jenna Eileen Ferolie; and the dear sister of Marie, and the late Margaret, Ann, Maureen, and Patsy.

Eileen’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, to whom she was lovingly devoted. A woman of strong faith, she was a daily communicant and dedicated parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church since 1993. She found great joy in her parish community, including her membership in the Sea Breeze Golden Age Club.

Her family and friends will remember her for her unwavering faith, deep love for her family, and her gentle, caring spirit.

The visitation for Eileen V. McCool will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, August  5, 2025 at 10:30 AM - the family will be gathering at the funeral home by 9:00 AM.
