Obituary of Albert V. Danza

Albert V. Danza, age 72, of Brooklyn, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 28, 2025. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Albert was the beloved son of the late Gaetano and Elena (Tortora) Danza.

A proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Class of 1974, Albert treasured his time there deeply, especially the lifelong friendships he built in Zahm Hall. His loyalty to Notre Dame never wavered, and the Fighting Irish held a special place in his heart.

Albert was an avid golfer who found joy on the green and in every challenge the game presented. His passion for the sport reflected his approach to life—with patience, perseverance, and a deep appreciation for the journey.

He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Florence Danza, with whom he built a life full of love and unwavering support. Loving father of Lauren Danza (Wilson Karaman) and Albert J. Danza (Lesley Block). Cherished grandfather of Henry, Charlotte, and Miles. Dear brother of Christine (Mike), the late Barbara (Larry), Guy, Angela (Vince), Joan (Jack) and the late Carol (John).

His extended family and many friends will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and indomitable spirit.

Albert was an inspiration to all who knew him, showing immense strength and courage throughout life’s challenges.

Reposing on Saturday, August 2 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM and Sunday, August 3 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, August 4 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn.

Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island.
