Obituary of John Hoo

John Hoo, 75, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Dr. Hoo was born November 18, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Ten Jow and the late Yuk Kiew (nee Yuen) Hoo.

He is survived by his beloved wife Sally (nee Dagnone) Hoo.

Cherished father of Jonathan, Salvatore (Cynthia,) Stephanie (Michael) and Joseph (Christina.)

Loved grandfather of Alexander, Lucas, Mason, Viviana, Josephine, Joseph John, Juliet and Genevieve.

Calling hours will be Saturday, July 26 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM and Sunday, July 27 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, July 28 at St. Mark R.C. Church, 2609 East 19th Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Private cremation to follow in Green-Wood Crematory, Brooklyn.
