Obituary of Nunzio Marzigliano

In Loving Memory of Nunzio Marzigliano

March 29, 1929 - July 19, 2025

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Nunzio Marzigliano, a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. At 96 years young, Nunzio passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Nunzio was born in Seaford, Long Island, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where his deep roots in family and community began. He was the devoted husband of Angela Marzigliano, with whom he shared a lifetime of unwavering love and partnership. Angela predeceased him, and their love remains an enduring example of devotion and strength.

He was a proud and loving father to Palma (Anthony), Lisa (Sal), and Diane (Walter). He was predeceased by his cherished daughter, Maria, whose memory remained forever in his heart.

Nunzio was a devoted grandfather to Victoria (Chris), Nicholas, Sabrina, Jillian, Kristen, Salvatore, Victor, and Julia, and a proud great-grandfather to Christopher. His deep love and quiet strength live on in each of them.

He was the loving son of Palma and Gennaro, and the dear brother of Nancy (Eddie). He was predeceased by his sisters, Phyllis (Manny) and Rose (Eddie). Nunzio was also a devoted uncle, like a father to many, and a loyal friend to all. He will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and gentle nature.

Nunzio’s life was rooted in love, family, and quiet strength. He was truly one of a kind—a man whose kindness, wisdom, and devotion left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of loving him.
