Obituary of Janet Pecorino

Janet Pecorino, age 66, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 29, 2025. 

Reposing on Sunday, July 6 from 2-5 & 7-9 at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

The funeral will be held on Monday July 7, 2025.

Procession to form and depart the funeral home by 10:00 AM.

Entombment to take place at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.

The butterfly emerges

     from its silken shell-

Reborn, it arises,

     no longer bound to earth.

Free at last, the butterfly glides

     to heights unknown before.

So do our loved ones find

     a beautiful release

as, earthbound no more,

     they leave our sight

and joyfully rise

     to a garden of matchless beauty,

     a place of light and peace.
