Obituary of Theresa C. Knauer

Theresa C. Knauer, 86, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025. Mrs. Knauer was born July 1, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late James and the late Frances Theresa (nee Timmes) Hannigan.

Mrs. Knauer is predeceased by her beloved husband Harvey Knauer.

She is survived by her children Theresa Ann Knauer (Raymond Weinberg,) Catherine Legiadre (Thomas,) John Harvey Knauer, Richard Knauer, Rose Marie Ardito (Frank) and Joseph Knauer (Michelle.)

She will be missed by her nine grandchildren and great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 AM on Wednesday, June 25 at St. Mark R.C. Church, 2609 East 19th Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial to follow will in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Wednesday, June 25 at 12:30 PM.
