Obituary of Joseph S. Pasqua Jr.

Joseph S. Pasqua, Jr., age 60, of Brooklyn, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Born on August 27, 1964, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the beloved son of Joseph S. Pasqua, Sr. and the late Carmela (Gentiluomo) Pasqua.

Joseph was a devoted and longstanding employee of the Social Security Administration, where he served with dedication and integrity for over 30 years.

A faithful and active member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church community for more than four decades, Joseph generously gave his time and heart in service to the Church. He was honored to serve as a Eucharistic Minister and took great joy in assisting with many aspects of parish life, especially during the Christmas season, which held special meaning for him.

Loving brother of Jacqueline Vetri (Salvatore) and Robert Pasqua (Maria). Dear uncle of Samantha (David), Salvatore, Selina, and Steven. Cherished great-uncle to Caden.

His gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Reposing on Friday, June 13, from 2:00–5:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14, at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church, 1550 Hendrickson Street, Brooklyn. 

A private cremation will follow.

The future interment of cremated remains will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, at a later date. Please check back for updates regarding the upcoming burial service.

This parish held a very special place in Joseph’s heart. He was a devoted member of the church community for many years and found great strength, purpose, and peace through his faith and service there. Supporting the church is a meaningful way to honor his memory and the values he lived by.
