Obituary of James Healy

James Healy, age 85, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Mr. Healy was born August 23, 1939 in Ireland. He is the son of the late Patrick and the late Bridgette (nee Mannix) Healy. He married his beloved wife Joan (nee Connell) Healy, who predeceased him in 2023.

He will be reunited with their daughter Mary J. Healy.

Cherished brother of Mary Griffin, John Healy and the late Michael Healy.

Beloved uncle to loving nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Friday, May 23 from 4:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 24 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Cremation to occur at Green-Wood Crematory, Brooklyn.

Mr. Healy will be laid to rest with his family in St. Charles Cemetery.
