Anthony Pagliaro

Obituary of Anthony Pagliaro

Anthony “Tony” Pagliaro: Tony was born on March 12, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Frank and Millie (Cordi). He graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn and, following graduation, proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon returning home, Tony met and married the love of his life, Anna Zampetti, in 1961. Together, they welcomed two children, Anthony and Susan. Tony dedicated his career to working for Eastern Airlines at JFK Airport, where he developed a lifelong passion for travel. Although he traveled to many places, he had a special fondness for his trips to Las Vegas with friends and his birthday getaways to Atlantic City with his family where he was always the last one standing at the casino.

Tony was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Whether it was gathering around the dinner table sharing stories, playing games and laughing, or simply enjoying quiet moments together, Tony’s warmth and kindness created a home filled with love. His unwavering dedication to his family was evident in every gesture, big or small, and his legacy of love and togetherness will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Tony leaves behind a loving family who will deeply miss him. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anna, with whom he shared a lifetime of cherished memories. Tony is survived by his devoted children, Anthony and his fiancé, Kate, as well as his daughter Susan and her husband, Dean. He also leaves a lasting legacy through his beloved grandchildren, Robert, Nikki, Jill, and Annalee, who brought him immense joy and pride throughout his life.
