Obituary of Norman Peter Kirchner

Norman Peter Kirchner, age 90, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at home in Brooklyn. Mr. Kirchner was born April 27, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Peter and the late Millicent Kirchner.

He served in the United States Navy and was a devoted New York City Police Officer.

Mr. Kirchner is predeceased by his beloved wife Marylyn Turner.

Loving father of Jessica Cicalo, the late Christian Kirchner, the late Victoria Kirchner and the late Jennifer Kirchner.

Grandfather of Jake Nolan and Julia Kirchner.

Cherished brother of Doreen Wetzel.

Calling hours will be Monday, May 12 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 13 at Church Of St. Luke & St. Matthew, 520 Clinton Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. 

Burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Flushing.
