Ms. Kelly was my second grade teacher in 2002, and she left a lasting impact on both my life and my love for learning. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing, and I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family and close friends. I thought of her while doing my homework and was deeply disappointed. Thank you, Ms. Kelly, for sparking my love of science and always encouraging me to dream big and to speak up! Having you as a teacher was a true privilege, and I will forever cherish the memories of your classroom. I pray my children come across teachers as great as you were.
