I always loved your spirit and the stories you would tell. When we taught CCD at St. Thomas together we discussed the subject of death with the children. You told them you were not afraid and that you were actually looking forward to meeting God and being with your husband again. Your faith , kindness and humor will live on forever in my heart. May You Rest In Peace Dear Edna, you were one of a kind.

As I’m going through a bunch of documents when I was a child in the 90’s, I came across a card from you in 1993 with $10 in it. Out of all my teachers, you were the only one I remember. I am 46 and still remember you. I went to look online to see if you were still around and sadly you aren’t. You were a beautiful and loving teacher and I pray God met you at the pearly gates. RIP Mrs. Mackiewicz.
