I had the privilege of knowing Tommy as part of the Breakthrough Scholars at NYU. He was all the best parts of that program. He was one of the funniest, kindest, most genuine people I’d met during my time there. I loved him very much. My deepest condolences to all his family, friends, and loved ones. Never in a million years did I expect to be writing this. It really hurts to hear a childhood friend of yours passed away. I met Tommy in pre-k, we literally grew up together. From elementary performances to fighting in the school yard. The smartest in the room! You will truly be missed. I literally bumped into you not that long ago, hearing this just doesn’t feel real. Tommy’s smile will forever remain one of my most cherished memories. He had a way of entering and leaving every room with the brightest, most unforgettable smile.
