It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of Gerard Gannon. A great social worker a wonderful human being and I am happy to say a great colleague. So many great days so many good things that he did for so many at Saint Joseph’s children services in Brooklyn and St. John’s home and New York Foundling. My deepest sympathy to Charlene and his family. The world was a better place for all that he did.
James Thamm, Jr., Class of 1969, extends sincere condolences to the family. It was always great to play against you and Charlie Harris in the Met pool and the New York Athletic Club. Go with God.
DEUS MEA ET OMNIA
I send this missive to the most decent and honorable man I have ever known.
Jerry, We shared many jokes and fun times, which I will always cherish, you were a substantive role model. I will miss you my dear friend. Yours in Christ, Jimmy Smyth
