Obituary of Joseph Riess

Joseph Riess died peacefully at home with his devoted wife by his side.  He was 88.  Son of the late Israel & Sarah Riess, he was born December 9, 1929 in Brooklyn.

Joseph's early life found him enlisting with the United States Air Force being discharged as a Tech Sgt..  His position with the Air Force served as the foundation for LINRO.  For 40 plus years Joseph supported his family as an independent entrepreneur.  He may not have created a multi million dollar corporation but Joe along with his wife Elaine was able to raise two children, be his own man and die peacefully at home with professional care leaving the same for Elaine. 

He leaves behind his devoted wife Elaine.  Dear father of Linda Riess and Robby along with his wife Maryann.  Grandfather of Guy, Brandon, Dylan and Kyle. 

Funeral Thursday 2/22/18 from The Marine Park Funeral Home.  Funeral Procession will form and promptly leave at 9:30AM.  All services will be at Beth Moses Cemetery for a 10:30AM graveside service.  For those who will meet at the Cemetery please wait for the funeral procession outside the Main Office, do NOT gather at the family plot.  US Air Force Honors will take place in recognition of Joseph's service to his Country followed by Rabbi Allan Kane leading the service.
