Obituary of Christine Hoepfner

Christine Hoepfner died Tuesday January 30, 2018 after a brief illness.  She was 65.  The daughter of Oscar & Annie Hoepfner, she was born in Boston; MA. 

At 65 years the length of one's life should not be dwelled on but instead what was accomplished in that time.  Christine traveled the world many times over having set foot on every Continent and traveled to places several times where some could only dream of experiencing at least once in life.  Christine died while still maintaing a career for over 40 years as a Park Ranger with the National Park Service.  Having started at the Boston Freedom Trail, The National Park Service brought Christine to New York as a Park Ranger with the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island.  For the last 20 years Christine served as Park Ranger & The Superintendent of Gateway National Park, here in Brooklyn NY. 

Reposing Thursday 2 to 4:00 PM and 7 to 9:00 PM at The Marine Park Funeral Home.  Burial will be private in the Family Plot at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston MA.
