Obituary of Chester F. Irvin Sr.

Chester F. Irvin Sr. died at home on January 16, 2018.  He was 85.  The son of William and Julia Irvin he was born February 14, 1932 in Brooklyn. 

Chester served our Country with the United States Marine Corps.

He leaves behind his devoted wife Loretta.  His children Kathleen Irvin (Larry), Marianne Surasi (Swamy), Chester Irvin Jr. (Martha), Patricia Murphy (Jerry), Linda Faccone (Matthew), Margaret Wasnieski (Ray) and Joan O'Hara (Jim).  Grandfather of Erin Faccone, Megan Wasnieski, Sharda Surasi, Jeremiah Murphy, Kris Surasi, Laura Faccone, Bridget Halstead, Raymond Wasnieski, Matthew Irvin, Rosie Faccone, Patrick O'Hara and Liam O'Hara.  Chester was predeceased in life by his grandson "C.J." Chester F. Irvin III and was the last of his 11 brothers and sisters.

in lieu of flowers the family request donations may be made to MJHS (Metropolitan Jewish Hospice) in recognition of the care provided to Chester at the end of his life.
