Obituary of Michael P. Romeo

Michael P. Romeo passed away on June 19, 2017 at 93 years old. Michael is welcomed into Heaven by his beloved wife Edna Romeo. Michael is the loving father of Louise (Joseph) Trovato, Rosemary McNamara, John (Andrea) Romeo, Edna (Jack) Perito, and Michael (Melissa) Romeo. He was the cherished grandfather of Joseph, Christine, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Katherine, Mikey, and Savannah. Michael was the dear great grandfather of Michael, Brendan, Matthew, Alyssa, Andrew, Emma, And Arabella.

Michael's greatest passion was fishing, especially surf casting. He also enjoyed watching the major league football games, always rooting for his favorite team the New York Giants.

The visiation for Michael will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Wednesday June 21, 2017 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church on Thursday June 22, 2017 at 9:30 AM - the family will be meeting at the funeral home at 8:30 AM. The Committal Service will be immediately following the Funeral Mass at Pinelawn Memorial Park, in Farmingdale New York.
