Obituary of Bernice F. James

Bernice F. James, 76, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at her home. Bernice was born August 23, 1940 in Trinidad. She is the daughter of the late Clifford and the late Violet (Briggs) Simpson.  Beloved sister of Faustin Simpson and the late Marina Thomas. Loving Aunt of Annette Bailey, Patricia Carrington, Wade Thomas, Wendy Thomas, Sharon Griffith, Peter Thomas, Dexter Thomas and Vanessa Simpson. Dear cousin of Camille Matthews, Kim Duncan, Lauralyn M. Adebayo, Miriam Scott. Dear friend of Mr. Peter and Dorothy Sobol Family. Close relative of the Briggs, James, Noray, Scott and Douglas families.

The Rosary

1.    Make the sign of the Cross and pray the Apostles Creed
2.    Pray the Our Father
3.    Pray three Hail Marys
4.    Pray Glory be to the Father
5.    Announce the Mystery for reflection and pray the Our Father
6.    Pray the 10 Hail Marys
7.    Finish the Decade with the Glory be to the Father
8.    Announce the Second Mystery; then say the Our Father. Repeat 6 and 7 and continue with Third, Fourth and Fifth Mysteries in the same manner.
