Obituary of William Kinane

William "Billy" Kinane, retired NYPD Detective, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 13, 2017. 

Loving husband to Maura (nee Keane), adoring father of Katie and Bridget Anne. Devoted brother to Patricia Turek. Prceded in death by his parents, Bill and Kay Kinane. Admired uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Billy was a beloved member of the Breezy Point community. Billy was also an original member of the Breezy Point Catholic Club Pipe and Drums Band as well as a longtime member of the Point Breezy Fire Department. 

Most recently, Billy retired as Captain of Breezy Point Public Safety after 16 yeasrs of service. Billy will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Billy loved his family, friends and Breezy Point. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Breezy PointFire Department or Rockaway Point Fire department. 

Reposing on Monday June 19, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 Pm at Marine Park Funeral Home. 

Funeral Mass to be celebrated 11:00 AM  on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Breezy Point. 

Private Cremation.
