Obituary of James V. Cappelluzzo

James Vincent Cappelluzzo, age 86, of Brooklyn passed away on April 13, 2017. Mr. Cappelluzzo was born October 22, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. He is survived by his loving sisters Anne with her husband John DeSarle and Irene with her husband Santos Scupalletti. He is also the beloved brother of Camellus and Joseph Cappelluzzo. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews who all adored him. Mr. Cappelluzzo was a private first class in the Armed Forces during the Korean War. He earned a Korean service medal with 4 bronze service stars, a ROK Presidential Unit Citation DA GO 33 for 1953, as well as a United Nations service medal. After the Army, Mr. Cappelluzzo enjoyed working as the Road Manager for the infamous Tiny Tim. Visitation for Mr. Cappelluzzo will be Saturday, April 15 from 9:00 to 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 15 at the Historic Chapel in The Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY, with burial to follow.
