Joann Benditcha, age 63, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Mrs. Benditcha was born February 10, 1954 in Bronx, NY. She is the daughter of the late Frank and the late Anna (Dongarra) Spinelli. A true Saint of a woman, always putting others before herself. A lady of elegant class that made everyone feel comfortable because she was so personable and kind to all that she graced with her presence. Joanne, retired from her long time position as a legal secretary for the Sullivan & Cromwell Law Firm in Manhattan that she enjoyed very much. Joann had a dire love for animals and loved life, but most importantly her family. Beloved wife of Sol Benditcha. Loving mother of Joshua Benditcha and Ashleigh Benditcha. Cherished sister of Maria Mirone and the late Linda Lasco. Reposing Thursday March 16th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:00PM. Funeral Friday 10:00 AM from the Marine Park Funeral Home. Funeral Mass 11:15AM St. Bernard's R.C. Church. Interment will take place on Monday March 20th due to the recent inclement weather, burials are NOT permitted. Interment St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx.
