Obituary of Pudgie Walsh

Pudgie Walsh died surrounded by those who knew him and where he would have wanted to been. The son of the late Ernest and Madeline Walsh, he was born on August 22, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY. Pudgie began his life of communal service with the United States Navy. After being discharged his dedicated service with the FDNY began. Retiring after almost 40 years with his proud, earned title of Lieutenant Firefighter FDNY. Pudgie's greatest past time was coaching the Brooklyn Mariners, with 621 wins he ends his life and career in its 60th season. He leaves us to join his late wife Catherine. Survivors include his daughter Erin Levine, son John, his wife Jeanne Walsh. Dear grandfather of Lily, Luke and Alister. Beloved brother of Joy Walsh and the late James.
