My deepest condolences to the entire Sica family.
I first met Teddy when he was in the NYPD.I got the opportunity to work with Teddy when he was an investigator in the Brooklyn DA's squad and I was a detective in the Sexual Exploitation of Children Unit.
We were prosecuting a pretty bad guy in Brooklyn who had hurt many children over many years. Teddy brought so much knowledge & experience to the investigation. His diligence & hard work helped to bring this shameless perpetrator to justice & to be given a very long sentence of over one hundred years.
Teddy had such great qualities that included natural leadership capability, confidence & tenaciousness that made him very successful in his work & his life. He always spoke so highly of his wife, sons & family.
He loved his Yankees dearly. Teddy was a true gentleman.
Rest in eternal peace Teddy.
