Rachel G. Stevens

On October 24, 1996 a Beautiful baby girl named Rachel Gabriel Stevens was born to Paul Stevens and Orlette Stewart, who were both currently residing in Kingston West Indies.

Rachel was the first child for both her parents. At 2 she attended Josephine Basic School with her Brother and Cousin. She migrated to the USA with her mom in 2003, here she pursued her Elementary Education at P.S. 361 and P.S. 269.

Rachel was Baptized at a very tender age, and loved going to The Church of God Sabbath Observe with her family.

After graduating she went to the I.S. 78 Roy H. Mann Junior High. There she met some of her classmates who are her best friends today.

After graduating she was accepted to Medgar Evers College and was working for Staples and the New York City Public Library.

In 2014 her doctors advised her to get further treatment because her kidney was failing.Going back and forth to appointments was frustrating but she never lost hope.

Rachel wanted to become a veterinarian, because of her love for animals, and an Accountant so she could control her own money and buy her dream home. But on August 1, 2017, Rachel mysteriously went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to Coney Island Hospital. There doctors declared she had suffered damage to her brain. After spending 4 months in hospitals, Rachel passed away on December 17, 2017 at M.J.H.S Menorah Home and Hospitals.
